Introduction
Liquidity Pool tokens, or LP, are issued to users who provide funds in liquidity pools.
A LP token consists of the same value of two different tokens.
For example, if you deposit DOGS and BNB into a Liquidity Pool, you will receive DOGS/BNB LP tokens. The number of LP tokens you receive equals your share of the DOGS/BNB Liquidity Pool.
In simple terms, users deposit a pair of assets in a liquidity pool so traders can swap these two assets.
The users who provide liquidity to these pools are called liquidity providers.
You can also redeem your funds at any time by removing your liquidity.
Providing LP tokens to Animal Farm lets you earn rewards in the corresponding reward token.

How to buy DOGS / PIGS
You can purchase the AFD/AFP token directly on the Animal Farm website.
- Enter the BUSD amount, set 1% slippage, hit SWAP and then CONFIRM.
- Pay gas fees and approve the transaction in your crypto-wallet.

How to Add Liquidity
Animal Farm protocols base their activities on PancakeSwap resources.
It is possible to create all LP tokens directly on PancakeSwap, except:
- DOGS/BNB
- DOGS/BUSD
- DRIP/BUSD
To avoid unexpected fees, the three pairs listed above must be created through contracts made available on the Animal Farm website.
You must use only our ADD LIQUIDITY DOGS tool to avoid unexpected tax on AFD liquidity.
- Go to ADD LIQUIDITY DOGS
- Connect your wallet.
- If you are creating the DOGS/BUSD LP pair for the first time, you will need to approve the token DOGS via your crypto wallet. Click on "APPROVE DOGS" and "APPROVE BUSD" to confirm the transaction.
You will need to commit the same value of both tokens to provide liquidity and avoid the transaction's failure.
- Set 1% slippage, click on Add Liquidity and confirm the transaction in your crypto-wallet.
The estimated gas fee is deliberately set high at 0.0125 BNB to avoid transactions failing in times of congestion, but this is not what you will be charged at confirmation.
Still don't see your AFD/BUSD LP in your token list?
You must use only our ADD LIQUIDITY DOGS tool to avoid unexpected tax on AFD liquidity.
Go to ADD LIQUIDITY DOGS
Connect your wallet.
Select BNB instead of BUSD.
- If you are creating the DOGS/WBNB LP pair for the first time, you will need to approve the token DOGS via your crypto wallet. Click on APPROVE DOGS to confirm the transaction.
You will need to commit the same value of both tokens to provide liquidity and avoid the transaction's failure.
- Set 1% slippage, click on Add Liquidity and confirm the transaction in your crypto-wallet.
The estimated gas fee is deliberately set high at 0.0125 BNB to avoid transactions failing in times of congestion, but this is not what you will be charged at confirmation.
Still don't see your AFD/WBNB LP in your token list?
With the Drip Liberation contract, farmers can add DRIP/BUSD liquidity to PancakeSwap without paying the 10% transaction tax.
- Go to DRIP LIBERATION
You will be temporarily redirected to the old Animal Farm site, soon the feature will be implemented.
- Connect your wallet using the button in the upper right corner.
- Select the token you want to use to create the pair, which will be swapped entirely and splitted into 50% DRIP e 50% BUSD.
- If you are creating the DRIP/BUSD LP pair for the first time, you will need to approve the token via your crypto wallet. Click on "APPROVE BNB/BUSD/CAKE ETC" to confirm the transaction.
- Hit SUPPLY, a window will open informing you of the estimated DRIP/BUSD LP you will receive, finally press CONFIRM SUPPLY and confirm the transaction in your crypto-wallet.
Still don't see your DRIP/BUSD LP in your token list?
The other LP tokens can be created directly on the PancakeSwap site.
The following procedure applies to all LPs except for the three listed above.
- Navigate to defi.animalfarm.app/farms and choose the farm on which you want to place liquidity.
Let us take the USDT/BUSD pair as an example.
- Click on "Details" and then on "Get USDT/BUSD"
- You will be automatically redirected to the PancakeSwap liquidity section; at this point, connect your wallet.
- Press Add Liquidity and choose the amount of token you want to use.
If you do not have the same amount of tokens, 50% of your BUSD will be converted into 50% USDT or vice versa.
- The first time you create the BUSD/USDT pair on pancakeswap, you must approve the token through your crypto-wallet. Click on "APPROVE BUSD/USDT", validating the transaction.
- Hit SUPPLY and a window will open informing you of the estimated BUSD/USDT LP you will receive, finally press CONFIRM SUPPLY and confirm the transaction in your crypto-wallet.

How to remove liquidity
It is possible to unpair all LPs through PancakeSwap's "Remove Liquidity" tool.
The following procedure applies to all LPs.
Navigate to pancakeswap.finance/liquidity and connect your wallet.
Click on the pair you want to remove liquidity from under "Your Liquidity".
- If the pair you own is not displayed click "Find other LP tokens"
Enter BUSD or BNB in the first box.
Click on SELECT A TOKEN
- Enter the address of the token you want to import and confirm.

- A window will open informing you of the estimated LP value, next press REMOVE.
- Choose the percentage you want to remove, set the correct slippage and click REMOVE, validating the transaction.
To avoid any unexpected issues, ensure both boxes remain ticked.
- Now tokens are separately present in your wallet.
